<p>Recognizing the importance of clean and accessible water, the Foundation installed a modern water pump system at Thika Prison. Water scarcity is a major issue in many Kenyan correctional facilities, often leading to poor sanitation, hygiene-related illnesses, and logistical difficulties. This project directly improved access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation, significantly boosting the quality of life for both inmates and prison staff. It is part of our broader mission to humanize incarceration through basic service delivery.</p>
