Fighting hunger through feeding programs and sustainable food gardens.
Hunger robs many of their strength, dignity, and tomorrow's promise. At Lifelong Foundation, we're on a mission to restore dignity, plate by plate, for the most vulnerable: orphans, the abandoned elderly, the sick, and street children.
To eradicate hunger among vulnerable populations through immediate relief programs and sustainable food solutions.
Droughts parch the land in ASAL regions like Wajir, shriveling crops and starving livestock. Floods in Nyanza drown harvests, while urban poverty in Mombasa locks families out of markets, their daily wage too small for a loaf. Not to mention the languishing families neglected by drunk parents in Central and Eastern Kenya.
The Bread for Life Feeding Program rolls out relief where hunger bites hardest—hot spots like Mathare or drought-hit Isiolo, identified through Church networks and community scouts who know every empty belly by name. For Lifelong Sustainable Food Gardens, we dig in with training—supplying seeds, tools, and follow-ups to keep gardens green.
Since we started, we've served over 50,000 meals across Kenya—steaming plates that quiet growling stomachs from Nairobi to Murang'a. Our 20 food gardens are thriving—families in Machakos now harvest enough kale to eat and sell, while an elder in Meru beams as he picks beans from his patch. Health rebounds—kids gain weight, the sick regain strength, and elders shuffle less from malnutrition's toll.

I used to spend my days scavenging for food in dumpsters. Sometimes I wouldn't eat for days. Now I know that every day at noon, I can get a hot meal from the Bread for Life program. With regular food, I've been able to focus on attending the local community school too. I'm not hungry anymore, and for the first time, I have hope for my future.
The sustainable garden training changed my life. Before, I struggled to feed my four children, especially during drought seasons. Now our small garden produces enough vegetables for my family to eat, with extra to sell at the local market. I've taught my neighbors these techniques too. Our community is becoming self-sufficient in food production.
Your support helps us continue our mission of bringing dignity, hope, and opportunity to communities across Kenya through our Hunger Eradication program.
